Institutional > History

In 1990, Hübner Indústria Mecânica (Mechanical Industry), based in Curitiba, Paraná, a traditional supplier of auto–parts to several assembly plants and its partners in Brazil, launched the brand Auto Linea for the auto–parts spare market. The company, that began producing engine blocks for Mercedes–Benz line, decided to act in this market segment to become less dependent on the ups and downs of the original parts' market.

Currently, Auto Linea sells blocks, heads, worm drives, steering sectors and automatic brake adjusters. The company sells its products though a very dense network of partners, which are strategically distributed in domestic and international markets. Auto Linea is present in more than 30 countries in 5 continents.

Auto Linea is known for the high quality and reliability of its products, and it is in constant evolution, systematically extending its product line, following the demands of the spare market world–wide.

By the end of 2001, Auto Linea moved to the town of Araucária, Paraná, in a plant equipped with the high–end industrial technology, aiming to support the production of auto–parts with quality and up–to–date technology.
