The companies Hübner Foundry and Hübner Foundry - Impar Unit received on October 01 the recommendation for ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification - Quality Management System - Specific Requirements for Application of ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2000 for organizations of automotive and relevant replacement parts production.

The Technical Specification ISO/TS 16949 contains the requirements of the norm ISO 9001:2000 and the specific requirements of the world automotive industry. This certification is required for the suppliers of the automotive assemblers, being today globally recognized and valued also in other sectors. The content of those requirements has broader and more complex demands than the ones of ISO 9001:2000. ISO/TS 16949 Certification is centrally controlled by IATF (International Automotive Task Force), which accredits the Certification Organizations.
