The New Rodo Linea's Dry Cargo Extendible Semi-Trailer on Fenatran

Along with the improvement and product innovation, Rodo Linea presents, on Fenatran, their new Extendible Semi-Trailer featuring type "I" cantilever.

The Dry Cargo Extendible Semi-Trailer with three axles is one of the great novelties introduced by Rodo Linea on Fenatran, a Hübner's group enterprise. In this model, some innovations are highlighted in comparison with the previous model, such as internal clamping pistons, an additional mechanical foot for opening and shutting the equipment and reduction of the clearance between the ground and the loading platform.

This product is designed for transporting freestanding cargo, such as metallic tubes and concrete structures, for instance. According to Rodo Linea's industrial director Roberto Vergani, with the innovations made to the Extendible Dry Cargo equipment, the operator will have more safety-related benefits, so that the implement will have it's length adjusted on demand.

The product also has other distinguishing features, pointed by the director. "In order to minimize the looseness, increase the stiffness and allow sliding with less interference, we aggregated to this product a set of rollers and a mechanical foot for activation, in the equipment's opening and closing situation", says Vergani.

Other important feature of this product, which accompanies the line's evolution, is the opening of the implement with the possibility of clamping at each 1000 mm.

The company's expectations towards this line is also connected to the demand increase that will occur with the approaching of the World Cup, the works of PAC - Programa de Aceleração de Crescimento (Growth Acceleration Program), the Olympics, and many others markets that generate increase of sales of this sort of implement, such as construction, for instance.
