Rodo Linea launches 2010 Dump-Trailer Family on Fenatran
The company marks their entry in the light implements market and participates in spots with more and more specific demands
Rodo Linea is bringing to the market their new family of dump-trailers over chassis, designed for transporting construction materials, dumps, abrasive materials and many other appliances. The implements are developed in structural steel, which allows for tare reduction and increase of the liquid cargo transported, consequently providing more productiveness. The first models to be launched are the "deck-over" and "ribbed".
"Rodo Linea aims attending new markets with the 2010 Dump-Trailers Family, besides, marks their entry in the light implements market", reveals Rodo Linea's administrative-commercial director Nelson Hübner Junior. According to Junior, Rodo Linea maintains their tradition of bringing a competitive family of products to the market, in order to fulfill an increasing non-seasonal demand, yet with warming-up perspectives due to the approaching of the World Cup's works, the evolution of projects such as Programa de Aceleração de Crescimento, PAC (Growth Acceleration Program) and now with the news about the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
According to the industrial director Roberto Vergani, the models known as "deck-over" hold favorable geometry, both for downloading and for resistance, since the sides of the box have horizontal ditches over all the length and a radius of concordance between the sides and the floor. "Switching the structural enforcements for adequate geometry ensure stiffness and resistance to the set, essential features for a product that will undergo severe working conditions", he states. "The reduction of the enforcements reflects directly on the implement's weight, besides allowing a perfect outflow of the cargo", reveals Vergani.
In Fenatran, the company presents the model developed for ore transportation. The volumetric capacities available for these models vary from 12 to 18m3. Another feature of the implement is the frontal cillinder, which improves significantly the product's downloading stability and reduces the efforts applied over the truck's chassis and the cargo box. Besides, the implement is distinguished by the extra-large tilting joint, which allows stability and safety, and the opening of the rear lid provided by the "scissor" opening system.
The "Ribbed" model - The "Ribbed" Dump-Trailer over chassis is designed for smaller volumetric capacities, from 4 to 9m3. "The ribs ensure stiffness to the box, and another difference is that in this model the tilting is made through a hidraulic cillinder, placed in the lower part of the cargo box", finishes Vergani.
Sand and Gravel - Following the same line, Rodo Linea also produces the Dump-Semi-Trailer for sand and gravel. The models with capacity between 22 to 60m3 received a meaningful stability improvement on the tilting, due to the enlargement of the distance between the center and the bearing.
