Rodo Linea reassures the Container-Trailer's success during Fenatran

The implement was launched by Rodo Linea in 2008 to attend the port operations with safety and productiveness

Rodo Linea introduces on Fenatran the 40 ft Container-Trailer, which brings an optional version equipped with ABS brakes, anticipating a law that will be valid in Brazil from 2013. The implement, launched in the beginning of 2008, is the result of a research made along with main customers and was developed from an intense engineering work, aiming the reduction of efforts over the product's structure and the increasing of the Container-Trailer's lifetime.

A highlight of this model is the relocation of the central container to the rear part of the implement, allowing the reduction of the panes' thickness, decreasing the equipment's tare.

Other important factor was the use of a highly rated steel on the container's supporting "arms". "With this steel we can modify thicknesses, reducing the mass without structural problems", clarifies Rodo Linea's industrial director Roberto Vergani. These "arms" have been strictly tested and approved by IPT - Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (Technological Research Institute) - following the Brazilian Rule - NBR 8571-2000.

The line wasn't only created for supporting the effort suffered during the transportation on the roads, due to the bad maintenance conditions of the Brazilian highway system, but also to provide more safety and wellness to the truck driver.
