Rodo Linea brings innovation to the market of implements

The market of road freight implements is about to win a new lighter option with innovative technology. Rodo Linea, a Hübner Group's company, has just developed the semi tow truck to transport live animals or cattle semi tow truck.
Although it is still being tested, the semi tow for cattle is produced with central chassis and items with the Komposit technology. These systems allow the decrease of the total weight of the equipment, contributing, among other aspects, with the reduction of consumption in transport operations and productivity. Engineer Sérgio Corrêa explains "We removed the burden of the lateral beams to achieve an important gain in the products with central chassis, and combined with the parts developed in the composite material we got a smaller tare and the possibility of increasing the net weight transported."
According to the engineer, the prototype still has the advantage of being approximately 300 kilos lighter than the similar ones in the market, with the capacity of transporting 24 oxen.
Rodo Linea's new implement was made with a differentiated material. The steel and the wood, components habitually used in the production of road implements, were substituted in some parts by the Komposit technology, a composite material with large mechanical resistance. This material avoids corrosion and absorbs the impacts during the transport of the animals.
