Finding Defects

Gap excess in the cylinder shaft stroke

- Check whether the command arm is well fixed or shows defects (broken or rolling).
- Check worm torque according to the guidance of the "revision checklist" item.
- Check the general operation, spinning the worm counterclockwise ½ turn, operating the brake several times and making sure that the "S" shaft is spinning clockwise at brake slackening.

Small shaft stroke (locked brake)

- Check pneumatic pressure, which should not be lower than 6 bar.
- Check whether the hand brake is entirely slackened.
- Check whether slide springs are broken or weak (in this case they must be replaced).
- Check whether "S" shaft, rolls and slide fixation pins are free.
- Loosen the command arm fixation screw and check whether it is correctly set.

Attention! Use only original springs. Stronger springs damage adjuster mechanism and weaker springs damage shoes return.
